247 Townhall Staff Visit to San Francisco

On Thursday January 10th, 2008 Mohamed Bilal, Managing Editor, and Colin Lovett, Multimedia Producer came to San Francisco and work with the San Francisco Digital Connectors.

The purpose of the visit was to engage youth in the SF area to start producing their own videos and Digital Stories for 247 Townhall and our Web Properties. The youth were very excited about the use of Video Cameras and Flip Cameras. They were also introduced to the principles of Interviewing Techniques and how to develop their own community story.

SF Digital Connectors will start collecting stories from the community in early February 2008.
